Architecture + Other Things is an award-winning architecture and design studio based in Sharjah, UAE, founded in 2015 by Faysal Tabbarah and Nada Taryam. The practice integrates research and making to deliver context-driven work across architecture, interiors, product and furniture design, graphic design, editorial projects, branding, and creative consulting, rooting each project in the region’s material, visual, and cultural environments. Its cross-disciplinary method draws on digital tools, emergent technologies, and materials research, often collaborating with specialists from other fields. Alongside practice, Tabbarah serves as Associate Professor at the American University of Sharjah and curated the National Pavilion UAE’s “Aridly Abundant” at the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale, while Taryam brings significant delivery experience in the UAE including the Bee’ah HQ.
