Abu Dhabi-based collective Studio Untitled unites eight Emirati female artists under a shared mission: amplifying the potency of ambiguity. Founded in 2023, the group interrogates transitional spaces—cultural, emotional, and perceptual—through painting, mixed-media installations, and site-responsive works. Their practice orbits the “in-between”: unspoken societal dialogues, evolving Gulf identity, and liminal states where tradition and experimentation collide. Rejecting rigid narratives, the artists employ abstraction and symbolic materiality to map personal and collective thresholds.
