Roe Kapara, born April 19, 1998, in St. Louis, Missouri, is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter celebrated for his sharp lyrics and distinctive blend of indie rock and punk influences. After moving from Nashville to Los Angeles just before the pandemic, Kapara cultivated a strong online presence, drawing in over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify. In 2023, he signed with Epitaph Records and released his debut EP, I Hope Hell Isn’t Real, featuring standout tracks like “Preacher” and “Everyone’s Dying (Grandma’s Drunk Again).” His follow-up EP, Big Cigars and Satin Shorts, explores themes of wealth disparity and the illusion of the American Dream, showcasing his ability to pair dark humor with raw social commentary.
