OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture) is a leading international practice founded in 1975 by Rem Koolhaas. With offices in Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, Doha, and other global cities, OMA operates at the intersection of architecture, urbanism, and cultural theory. The studio is known for its provocative and research-driven approach, shaping iconic buildings such as the CCTV Headquarters in Beijing, the Seattle Central Library, and the Fondazione Prada in Milan. Through its counterpart AMO, OMA also extends its thinking to non-architectural disciplines, including fashion, media, politics, and sociology.
