Nao Tamura is a New York–based designer whose cross-disciplinary work bridges cultures, industries, and mediums. With roots in both Tokyo and New York, her practice fuses nature and technology, function and emotion, Eastern and Western perspectives. Her designs—spanning product, installation, and spatial work—focus on interconnection, cultivating experiences that transcend form. Tamura’s work has been exhibited internationally at venues like Palais de Tokyo, Salone del Mobile, and the Kyocera Museum. She has spoken at TED and the University of Milan, and her contributions have been honored with the IF Design Award, Good Design Award, and IDSA Excellence Award.
