Meek Mill, born Robert Rihmeek Williams on May 6, 1987, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a prominent American rapper and activist. He began his music career as a battle rapper, forming the group The Bloodhoundz. In 2008, he signed with T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records, and later joined Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group in 2011. His debut album, Dreams and Nightmares (2012), featured the hit single "Amen." Meek Mill's subsequent albums, including Dreams Worth More Than Money (2015) and Championships (2018), solidified his status in the hip-hop industry. Beyond music, he is known for his advocacy on criminal justice reform, drawing from his own legal challenges to promote systemic change.
