Abeer Seikaly

Abeer Seikaly is a Jordanian-Palestinian interdisciplinary architect, artist, and cultural producer whose work bridges design, craft, and community. Trained in architecture at RISD, her practice navigates themes of memory, identity, and material resilience—most notably through her acclaimed project Weaving a Home, a structural fabric system that reimagines nomadic shelter. From large-scale installations to experimental objects, Seikaly’s work reframes traditional craft and indigenous knowledge through a contemporary lens, challenging how architecture and design engage the social and the sacred.
