Milan, Italy - April 11th, 2025 - To mark the 10th anniversary of the Samsung SmartThings Home, WUF / We Understand the Future presents an exclusive event at the iconic smart home showroom during Milan Design Week: blending immersive art, future living, and cutting-edge technology.

At the center of this experience is a digital solo exhibition by Fabio Giampietro, an artist known for his vertiginous explorations of urban space and emotional gravity. His works—digitally adapted and displayed on next-generation Samsung screens—reimagine the language of painting within responsive, intelligent environments. Giampietro’s cityscapes unravel the psychological weight of architecture and time, making them particularly resonant within the futuristic, sensor-driven SmartThings setting.
A preview of WUF Magazine 004 will be available onsite, exclusively for press, featuring editorial insights by Giuseppe Moscatello, host curator of the issue and co-founder of Foundry Downtown.
“Fabio Giampietro has long explored the emotional architecture of our cities — bending perspectives, time, and gravity to reveal deeper truths. At WUF, we share that same urge to challenge perception and reimagine the spaces we inhabit. Presenting his work within the Samsung SmartThings Home is more than a show: it’s a statement about how art and technology can redraw the boundaries of living.”
— Etan Genini, Founder of WUF
A special evening event on Friday, April 11, will feature a Meet & Greet with Fabio Giampietro inside the space, offering press, collectors, and cultural professionals the opportunity to engage directly with the project and its creators.
