

X-Architects is a Dubai-based architecture and research practice founded in 2003 by principal architects Ahmed Al-Ali and Farid Esmaeil, delivering context-driven, future-oriented work that engages culture, environment, and society across the region. The studio’s international recognition includes the 2019 Aga Khan Award for Architecture for the Wasit Wetland Centre in Sharjah, and its portfolio spans civic and cultural projects such as conservation and interpretation work in Dubai’s Historic District.
