The Arabic Design Archive

Arabic Design Archive (ADA) is a non-profit initiative dedicated to documenting and reactivating the visual history of Arabic graphic design. Founded by Moe Elhossieny in 2020, ADA addresses the absence of accessible design archives in the Arab world by digitizing and exhibiting material from the second half of the 20th century. Operating through a decentralized, community-driven approach, ADA challenges dominant knowledge hierarchies and fosters a plural, open archive shaped by contributions from across the region and diaspora.
