

Sevdaliza, born Sevda Alizadeh on September 1, 1987, in Tehran, Iran, is an Iranian-Dutch singer, songwriter, and producer known for her innovative fusion of electronic, alternative R&B, and trip-hop elements. At the age of five, she relocated to the Netherlands, where she later played for the Dutch national basketball team and earned a master's degree in communications. In 2015, Sevdaliza released two EPs, The Suspended Kid and Children of Silk, establishing her distinctive sound. Her debut album, ISON, followed in 2017, featuring tracks like "Human" and "Marilyn Monroe." In 2020, she released her second album, Shabrang, further showcasing her artistic evolution. Her 2024 single "Alibi," featuring Pabllo Vittar and Yseult, topped TikTok charts and expanded her global reach.
