Reza Abedini is an Iranian artist and designer whose visual language merges Persian calligraphy, poetic typography, and Islamic ornamentation with modernist precision. Working between Iran, the Netherlands, and Lebanon, Abedini is widely recognized for reimagining Persian script—breaking the baseline, expanding spatial dimensions, and crafting layouts that treat text as both language and form. Founder of his eponymous studio and art director of Manzar magazine, Abedini has shaped generations of Iranian graphic design through a practice that is at once deeply rooted and formally experimental.
