Pariah

Pariah, the alias of British producer and DJ Arthur Cayzer, has been a prominent figure in electronic music since the late 2000s. Emerging with acclaimed EPs Detroit Falls and Safehouses on R&S Records, his early work fused post-dubstep rhythms with ambient soundscapes, earning him widespread recognition. In 2011, he joined forces with Blawan to form Karenn, a duo renowned for their live, hardware-based techno performances and their boundary-pushing approach to the genre. Their creation of Voam Records further expanded their influence on contemporary techno. Pariah’s 2018 debut album Here From Where We Are showcased a deeply introspective and ambient sound, highlighting his artistic evolution. His 2022 EP Caterpillar reasserted his range as both a producer and innovator. Whether as a solo artist or part of Karenn, Pariah remains a vital force in shaping electronic music’s past, present, and future.
