Nathy Peluso, born Natalia Peluso on January 12, 1995, in Luján, Argentina, is a genre-defying singer, songwriter, and performer blending Latin pop, hip-hop, jazz, and soul. Relocating to Spain at nine, she honed her skills in music and dance, performing jazz and blues covers that laid the groundwork for her bold, eclectic sound. Peluso gained recognition with her 2017 mixtape Esmeralda and 2018 EP La Sandunguera, leading to her critically acclaimed debut album Calambre (2020), which won a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album. Her collaboration with Bizarrap on "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 36" became a viral phenomenon, solidifying her status in the Latin music scene. She’s worked with major artists like C. Tangana on the hit "Ateo" and contributed to Christina Aguilera’s Grammy-winning project. Known for her theatrical stage presence, Peluso has performed at Coachella, Mad Cool, and Sónar. In 2024, she released Grasa, a deeply personal album exploring her Latin roots.
