Latrelle

Latrelle, born Andrea Latrelle Simmons in Newark, New Jersey, is a gifted R&B singer-songwriter whose career began in her teens. Supported by her mother and manager, R&B artist Aleese Simmons, Latrelle’s church singing quickly evolved into professional songwriting, with credits for Destiny’s Child, Mary Mary, and Monica. Signed by L.A. Reid to Arista Records, she recorded her debut album Dirty Girl, Wrong Girl, Bad Girl at just 19, collaborating with The Neptunes and featuring artists like Kelis and Pusha T. Though the album was never officially released, her talent gained industry-wide recognition. Undeterred, Latrelle co-founded AMI Music Group, releasing new material like "We Got Music" in 2010. As MzMunchie, she earned a Billboard Dance Club hit in 2011. Over the years, she’s toured with Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, and The Fugees.
