Labics

Labics is a Rome-based architecture and urban design studio founded by Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori in 2002. The practice combines theoretical research with a strong commitment to spatial experimentation, working across architecture, urbanism, and interior design. Labics is known for its rigorous, systems-based approach, in which geometry, structure, and materiality are carefully orchestrated to define clear spatial hierarchies and social functions. With a portfolio spanning public buildings, cultural institutions, and masterplans, the studio focuses on architecture as a civic act—an agent of urban transformation that fosters collective experience.
