Jumairy (b. 1992, Dubai) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans sound, performance, digital media, and film to construct immersive, sensory landscapes. Blurring the line between installation and apparition, his projects unfold as open-ended provocations—rituals, experiments, and prismatic performances that rewire the spaces they inhabit. Rooted in Arabic electro-pop and the raw textures of industrial sound, his sonic and visual vocabulary becomes a medium for psychological excavation, often touching on trauma, memory, and transformation. Jumairy’s evolving body of work has been exhibited internationally, with solo presentations in Milan (BRZ5, 2017), Basel (Evaporating Suns, 2023), Riyadh (Heartache, 2023), and Islamabad (Dastaangoi, 2022), alongside institutional support from Art Dubai, Barjeel Art Foundation, and Jameel Art Centre. A recent commission for Public Art Abu Dhabi's Manar exhibition marked his continued exploration of ephemeral, site-responsive installations.
