

Jerskin Fendrix, born Joscelin Dent-Pooley, is an English composer and musician celebrated for his experimental pop and classical compositions. Raised near Market Drayton in the West Midlands, he trained in violin and piano before studying classical music at Cambridge University, where he immersed himself in avant-garde projects. In 2020, Fendrix released his debut album, Winterreise, earning critical acclaim for its innovative sound. His work gained international attention through his collaboration with director Yorgos Lanthimos, composing the score for the 2023 film Poor Things, which received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations. Known for blending theatricality with eclectic musical styles, Fendrix draws comparisons to Nick Cave and Lou Reed.
