Flores & Prats treats architecture as a living archive. The Barcelona-based studio—led by Eva Prats and Ricardo Flores—builds spaces that breathe with memory, but their philosophy extends beyond brick and mortar. Their website is a manifesto in motion: a virtual studio where projects unfold like slow-motion conversations between sketches, models, and films. Here, a Soraya Smithson-designed stamp becomes the portal to an interactive universe—rooms filled with stop-frame animations of evolving designs, cupboards hiding process models, and shelves stacked with books that double as project diaries. Over 20,000 photos and hours of footage document their work’s DNA: how a hospital adapts to community needs, how light sculpts a courtyard over decades, how raw experiments (some dashed off in hours) grow into refined solutions.
