Ania Soliman is an Egyptian-Polish-American artist whose research-driven practice explores the entanglements of nature, technology, and cultural memory. Working primarily through drawing—alongside mapping, coding, and iterative mark-making—she transforms source material into layered compositions where conflicting systems coexist. Her work reflects a life shaped by Baghdad, Cold War Poland, and the digital present, tracing discontinuities and viral repetitions across platforms and histories. Soliman has exhibited at institutions including Kunsthaus Bregenz, Castello di Rivoli, and the Whitney Biennial. She is represented by Sfeir-Semler Gallery and Angels Barcelona.
