Alex Uhlmann, born on February 26, 1981, in Luxembourg, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his dynamic presence in the European music scene. At 18, he moved to London, immersing himself in the British music landscape. He formed the indie rock band Friday Night Hero, releasing the album Tourist in Your Own Town in 2009. In 2010, Uhlmann became the lead vocalist and guitarist for Planet Funk, contributing to their album The Great Shake (2011), which achieved gold status in Italy. Beyond performing, he has served as the musical director for "The Voice of Italy" since 2019. Embarking on a solo career, Uhlmann released his debut album, Home, in 2024, featuring singles like "Paris or Rome" and "Never Be the Same."
