ACHILLE LAURO
ACHILLE LAURO

Achille Lauro – Lauro De Marinis – born in Verona on July 11, 1990, is an Italian singer-songwriter known for his provocative style and bold persona. With a background marked by a mix of Pugliese and Venetian heritages, Lauro emerged from Rome's underground music scene, influenced heavily by his brother and collaborator, producer Federico De Marinis. His artistic journey began with the release of mixtapes such as 'Barabba' and 'Harvard', leading to a major contract with Roccia Music in 2014. Achille Lauro's music, including hits from his albums 'Achille Idol Immortale' and 'Dio c’è', often challenges conventional norms, blending theatrical elements with modern trap influences. Notably, his participation in the Sanremo Music Festival and collaborations with figures like Boss Doms highlight his evolving artistic narrative. His recent works continue to push artistic boundaries, engaging fans across both music and fashion platforms, and most recently, the arts, as the curator for Jesse Draxler’s solo exhibition “GOOD ARTISTS DO BAD THINGS” in Milan, May 2024.
